Fé was curled up on the couch in the rear area of the lounge, near the pool table. It was a nice spot - the chairs were comfy, there wasn't generally a huge amount of people, so it was a comfortable place to chill out. Yesterday had left her with a lot of questions, so it also made it a good spot to think.

So many issues. The doctors, who could use bacta. Ral and his sudden interest in reconnecting with his family. She wanted to talk to him about it, but would that be pushing on his boundaries? He wasn't a big fan of talking. Then there were the disappearances in two. And the Imperials.

"What a mess," she murmured to herself.

Praxton was nearby, pacing around the pool table with that look of concertation he wore. Similar tracing thoughts bouncing around his head. Prayton, the family they'd built, and the people of New Hope- it was more than was really fair for one person to try and carry and yet...

"We'll figure it out," he says, a touch gruffly but not overly so. Praxton's voice was always strong but that strength wasn't as present as it was with Mandalore or Dredgen, it was reserved and some would even say more passive. Strength used when and where it was needed, and not flaunted overmuch.

"Yeah," she agreed with a smile, turning off the pad for the moment. "Well, we've gotten started on a bunch of things already. Tension's ramped up quick, but everyone's stepping up."

She pulled her legs under her until she was sitting cross-legged on the couch. "How're you holding up?"

"Think one of the few who stop to ask are you and my wife," he cracks, glancing to her but not smiling. Praxton rarely smiles, but Fè has known him long enough to be able to see it in his eyes. Over the last year or so, he had seemed to smile in his own way a little more frequently. Sighing, he does relent and give her the answer as he keeps planning out his next move, "I am alright. Worried we are pushing too much, risking too much, but.. Mandalore know what he is doing, he knows best," he admits, and there is no uncertainty to his tone.

She chuckled a little at that and shrugged. "Someone has to. There's more than just meat an bone knocking around in our helmets to look after. Raven seems like she's been a real positive influence in that regard for you." Even if he wasn't a smiler, it was nice to see him feeling more upbeat in his subtle way.

As the statement that Mandalore knows what he's doing, she nodded, looking toward the door with an odd expression. Not unreadable, but more of a mix of emotions that ends somewhere unclear. There's no uncertainty in her voice either. "Yes... I trust his decision completely, even outside of my personal distaste for the Empire. Though I won't lie, I'm also personally glad for the opportunity."

"Claymore tells that Saxon even has a squad hunting us, and I hope that we can get out of here before they become a problem. Still.. we have the people of New Hope to consider," he says, sighing a little but propping up his shoulders with a little more confidence. "We did bring the Empire to their new colony. I'm.. I do worry that they came here to escape the Empire and all we did was put them under the Empire's boot once again, bring the spotlight to them in a way they hoped to escape."

"Figures. What an asshole," she sighed. From where it leaned against the couch arn, she picked up her hallikset and started to test the tuning.

She plucked one string after another as she considered his concerns. "We did, but it might just be earlier than they would have eventually come here anyway. If there's anything of value here to be found, the Empire would find it eventually. Still, we are responsible for them showing up now, so that's not nothing. I'mglad we're doing something about it."
