Just About Nuna (D1, EA)

[Rook Yorrick]

Today for lunch, Rook had fried up nuna for a variety of dishes. Crispy nuna sandwiches, spicy nuna fingers, nuna nuggets and, of course, deep-fried nuna legs. She set everything out with a few baskets of fritzle fries.

Joining over by rooks setup was the street-looking Veth Eldar. Leaning her head in to take a whiff of the food unceremoniously she smiles a bit. Nodding her head up at Rook with a casual, "Ey, yo ma what's cookin'? Smellin' good."

"Nuna. A few nuna go a long way when feeding a lot of people." she said. "What are you up to?"

[Veth Eldar]

"Followin' my nose like my dad taught me always to do," she says cracking a somewhat wild grin. "Serve me some up, eh? What's Nona anyway?"

[Rook Yorrick]

"It's a big flightless bird, originally from Naboo." she explained. "Not much to look at, but they can be pretty tasty. They can be cooked up in a number of ways, too."

[Veth Eldar]

"We already gettin' ready to give us the good stuff, or is this just you workin' through the rations to try and keep it interestin'?" she asks, a rather amused looking smirk resting on her lip, teasing as she was.

[Rook Yorrick]

"This isn't anything fancy, just good food while we have it." she explained. "I'm storing what I can, in addition to our ration stores. But, I'm going to make sure the meals are enjoyable while I can. If I didn't, it would be like looking the other way while someone steped into a hole."

[Veth Eldar]

"That's why you're my favorite," she said, chuckling a little as she settles a little more. "Mind if I just dig in? Been.. well, tearing through some droids today to see if they got what I need and it ain't goin' well."

[Rook Yorrick]

"Eat up and tell me about it." she said. "I don't know much about droids, but I'm a pretty good listener."
