[Day 4, LE, Group] Old Made New

Haat waits until there's a chance to get a word in - there were lots of questions from lots of those present, and for good reason. But when they can, they take a step closer to Irizka.

Is there and hopefully has some time for a question.

"Vod, if I may? I understand this... 'excavation' thing is important. I do. But... ain't this bound to attract Imps' attention? Is losing a team, or a few, worth riskin' now? Or do we have a plan to avoid that?"

"I am not your strategist child," they say with utter dismissal. Yet, they linger a moment and reconsider this. Considering an old friend it would only be fitting to stoke the fire.

"Are you all not Mandalorian? It will draw attention, yes, but a little attention from the Empire is not something I thought the Mando'ade would shy from. You are exemplary warriors if you are true to your people. It will be fine, I am certain."

Griddak nods but then explains that with how much damage the empire has done to Mandalorian culture, the old wookiee believes that any opportunity to reclaim lost or stolen Mandalorian cultural artifacts shouldn't be passed up. But he does understand the more practical view that they should be focusing on the mission that brought them here.

The Eldar's brow furrows noticeably at Izirka's words. Haat takes a moment to answer as they take a breath - which others in the room would definitely know was a display of respect coming from them as opposed to just lashing out.

"No aruetii* here, vod", they say in a flat tone that still carries some contempt.

That assuming Izirka was not an outsider themselves, of course. The ambiguity was there.

"No fear either. We fight for kote b'ijaat**! But there's no kote in being trapped, vod. And no lack of it in using our minds to reach victory"

They shrug, then nod to Izirka to take their leave, trying to show some respect - although it's clearly a strenuous effort.

Assuming Mandalore is still there and has some space, they try to step in line to at least raise the matter with them.

Irizka makes no move to further converse, pleased enough to be left to their own mind. Mandalore, of course, would be available to approach when the time would come.
