Clay was a busy gotabor, so he was normally eating on the go if he remembered to eat in the first place. But, somethings he just needed to unwind and sit down and enjoy a meal every so often. And, maybe even talk to people too. He sit down in the dining hall with some caf and a few pastries. Nothing better than a nice warm cup or three of caf to start the day. He pulled his helmet off and starting drinking his caf. He was staring blankly off far away thinking about the things he had to do today. Clay was sure Veth would have stuff for him to do as well.

As usual, Rook had set out breakfast. Boiled mealgrain was available with an assortment of fruits, spices and sweeteners to add for individual tastes. It was an intentionally light offering after the previous night's feast. For those with a heartier appetite, however, she prepared nuna egg omelets. Tea and caf were, of course, also available.

[Haat Eldar]

The sour mood today was not so much shown in remarks and retorts as Haat strolled into the dining hall, and more in dead silence and an unrelenting frown.

Maybe it was worry about what was to come? Maybe a stiff neck? Maybe just a bad night caused by an overeager mosquito - or too much food last night. Who could know?

The sour face took a look around, sneered at the omelets, got their share of caf and mealgrain and took a seat. It could have been a gruff or a "morning" that came from their direction as they looked at Rook and Claymore.

Clay looked at the people who seat down near him, "Morning... I think it's morning at least." He looked toward Haat, "Your sister does like keeping me busy. And compliments to the chef, Rook." He took eat of his first pastry.

"Ot's a simple meal." she shrugged. "But, it is hearty and will give you energy for what lies ahead."

[Haat Eldar]

"Heh.", Haat half scoffs and grins. "I'm sure she does." A sip of caf. "All good on the mechanical side for the next days, I'd hope?" For the first time, their expression shows something that more or less resembles friendliness. "I'm sure Veth wouldn't settle for less than good"

"Ha, I'm pretty sure Veth only deals with me, because I bring results and I can keep up with her when drinking." He said while munching on his food. "Things are going well mechanical. Basilisk is slow and steady." He took a sip of his caf. "How are things going with the two of you?"
