Uj'alayi was an old Mandalorian tradition. That Rook had been entrusted with the recipe after joining the enclave was a great honor. It was one of the few dishes she could make that her father never could.
She had made no alterations to the recipe. Doing so would be disrespectful and unnecessary. She wanted it to be a perfect ending for tonight, a celebration of victory and a feast for battle.
Rook was confident in the cake and said a few encouraging words to everyone as she sliced a generous piece to offer to each of them.
