[Day 1 - Late Afternoon] Keeping Tabs

[Sofia Hargrave]

"Always pick the brat-" she says, laughing sweetly as she places a hand to her chest. "I'm always a fan of the brats. Though.. well, Wookie's are neat too. Anyway, tech person is good I can make use of them somehow. What do the Brat and the Wookie bring to the table?" she asks, raising a brow with the punctuation.

Soleene let out a sigh as she felt like she was put on the spot. "Well, those were just people I had off the top of my head. There could be others, depending on how the next few days are going for me. I don't think I'm exactly a rallying beacon of people at the Enclave, that's mostly Mandalore's job and Praxton. The brat is scruffy and fighty. I think might just do about anything at any time, it will depend on how much of a margin of...freedom you'll allow on this op, after luck and time are factored in. The wookie is a vet, probably more punchy than me but I think he might also be hankering to rip off the arms of people, I'm not too sure. I think practice droids don't really do it for him."

Sofia pauses to think on it a good bit, taking her own drink into her hand and pawing it as she thought. Watching her Soleene would be able to see how her eyes move around a little while she's processing a complicated thought, or figuring out a solution to an extended problem. Given a minute or two she shakes her head, "Doesn't much matter to me, I think," and looks back to Soleene, "I trust you. Whoever you think is best, I can make work mm? Just bring me folk I can work with- and let's try not to turn this op into a bloodbath okay?"

"All right," she said in acceptance on the matter. "I'll ask around and try to make the idea as casual as possible. Smoothly talk them into it. I'm sure at least one of them will get the idea and it'll pan out decently. Believe me, I don't think we need any more trouble than necessary. Our leader has more or less already stirred up the Imperial hive, no need to have them send out the hornets too."

"It's kind of weird. At least a bit, don't you think?" She brought up a thought that was a lingering thought in her mind. "I guess I never thought to work business with you. Then again, I guess I never knew much of what you did, other than guide Raven on Bellionas that one time."

"I'm a floater- I do whatever floats my way while I'm out here roaming the galaxy, mm?" she says, offering that super easy smile of hers. Certainly her lipgloss got quite the show anytime she did, giving that nice sparkly sheen to her lips.

"I never thought I'd be working with you- let alone see you all geared up ready for battle like you are," she chuckles, giving Soleene a slight squeeze of her arm.

"I think I got the impression that you were capable of many things," she said with a few knowing nods and perhaps an appraising glance, the visor made it a bit uncertain on that. Soleene did recall that date they had over at the casino. Sofia had fine tastes but she seemed to find her way around less reputable people it seemed.

She seemed to look at the hand before looking at Sofia. "I also remember that you wanted to see me in armour and I didn't lie when I say I only wear it for business. Well, either way or relationship, it is good to see you around. So, are you supposed to be my handler now when doing things for the captain?"

"On this first job, yea-" she smiles, taking up to sipping from her drink while looking back over to the Captain. "After this though, if you stick on, I imagine she'll take your leash a little more directly. Whenever she's risking her neck she likes to be in control of her people."

"And.. if you want to swing by before the job sometime? I'm sure Irevessa won't miss me too much.. she's got quite the pull around here, I can find us somewhere to escape away. Or you could bring me home," she says with a little wink.

"I'm not exactly looking to work up the chain when it comes to getting in her favour," she said with a shrug. After all, she didn't how long Mandalore and the Enclave were going to stick around on this world. "I had dropped by to see how she was doing and maybe loan a bit of sugar like a good neighbour. But, I suppose there are some pleasant surprises now."

Her posture straightened and she placed a hand on her hip, looking a bit serious. "That would be nice but I can't say I'm too sure about how the captain handles her relationship. I'm here not here exactly to stir up trouble with people who I'm not exactly looking to piss off considering I already have a full list."

Staring a little, that slight bit of despondence anyone gets when they're told something they really should have thought of, "Yea- no, that's a good idea. Better to play it safe, mm? Wouldn't want to have to see you fight the whole crew on behalf of little old me," she adds, gaining back a little bit of her mood and charm with a flash of a smile. Shaking her head indicating the tease she laughs, "Anyway.. unless you need anything else suppose I should get back to her and the others, eh? If you need me-" she places a hand on her chest- "you know where to find me. Just don't be too much of a stranger, mm?"

Soleene nodded in acceptance at that. "Yeah, it's what I thought. You don't become captain for being lenient, especially when it comes to a pirate crew. Unless they did something wrong, like really wrong, then I'd rather not get into a fight with them. But, yeah, I won't be a stranger when we're sharing the same atmosphere together. If things go well, I will see you again."

"I should head out too, thank you for the brief, Sofia," she nodded, allowing her to leave first if there was nothing else.

Sofia lingers a moment, but ultimately collects her drink and heads off back toward Irevessa's corner. Not turning back as she moves back to Irevessa's side, and finds herself back on the other woman's shoulder.

Soleene would watch her walk and return to Irevessa's side. Her focus would eventually fall on the other drink that Sofia ordered that Soleene left unattended due to 'duty reasons'. This was unfortunately true as she did have work to do and after a moment of thought, she would make her own leave from the bar.
