[Day 1 - Late Afternoon] Keeping Tabs

After a rather rambunctious morning, Soleene took some time aside to drop by Jaster's Rest Stop. It was a decent place, albeit the crowd wasn't exactly to her likely. However, it was hard to find anywhere else if you were looking for strong liquor or a word on the street. She wasn't here for that this time around but rather here to catch up with an acquaintance of hers. It was perhaps the least she could do after getting them stuck here for a bit. She imagined the captain and her crew will be back on their feet, especially among like-minded individuals here.

Jaster's, especially now, was always busy but even with all of those bodies mingling about it was easy to find the bigger groups in the room. Of those present, Irevessa's crew were the third largest taking up one of the larger alcoves all to themselves. Cutting out their own little corner of the space like they owned it in deed. However, it wasn't too necessary to find them herself as the Zeltron Bardon, a man she knew from her life back on Zeltros, approached her.
"Hey, I can take ya to the boss. Lookin' forward to workin' with ya again. Ready?" he says, and steps to the side to let her past so they might walk in step toward Irevessa.

While it might have been comforting to see a familiar face from Zeltros here, it did make Soleene feel a tad wary. That was almost a different lifetime for her and that easily came with its share of baggage she'd rather not have come back to haul.
"Well, that entirely depends on what," she said cooly on a cautious note. "I figured I'm just dropping by to say hi and make sure you're all settled here. Everything else is just a bonus."
With that bit of formality laid out, she made her way forward to see the captain.

Soleene was quickly lead to an alcove table littered with different looking folk, but all of them having that slight edge of danger to them. At the head of the table opposite Soleene sat the woman herself: Irevessa.
Arms laid out behind her she lounges back comfortably. Even here in this pirate bar in a place she'd not been to before the woman held a confidence to her that was insurmountable. When one looked at her they could understand how that Irevessa manages to control the people around her so easily. There was an energy of presence to her, a danger that was inviting, and a beauty that was just rugged enough to be all too enticing.
"Well- isn't it our Mandalorian friend Soleene?" she says, her smile bright and played up for appearances. Notably, to Irevessa's side there was a space open for a seat but no other seat at the table was available. However, no one seemed keen on moving to allow Soleene to sit. Instead, the expectation seemed that she was intended to stand. Like a supplicant addressing their queen.
"Thank you for coming dear. I'm ever so excited to share something with you- an opportunity, but first.." she looks to Soleene's side, "Bardon, do be a dear and fetch the last member of our merry little crew? I want to make sure Soleene here has all the opportunity to meet everyone she might be working with. We need a proper showing, mm?" she says, and smiles.
Bardon quickly departs.

Soleene had no issue standing before Irevessa. Besides, there was more tactical advantage to being on your feet than sitting around and surrounded by other people. She merely gave a nod to Irevessa, "Yeah, good to see you too. You say that like I'm the only Mandalorian you know or seen around here, which I kind of doubt, heh."
She gave a momentary glance to see where Bardon was going before looking back to Irevassa. "That's great, I guess I should be pretty flattered that you were thinking of me. But as I said to him earlier, I mostly dropped by to see how you're doing. I'm sure you must know that we're plenty busy around here so I hope you don't take it too personally if this opportunity might be passed along. I don't think my leader is going to take it took kindly with many of us taking side jobs at the moment."

Tracking Bardon with her eyes, she'd manage just to catch a glimpse of his destination before looking back. Whoever the other member of the crew was had vividly dark blue hair with a few highlights, and they seemed to be quite the attention getting with a circle of their own formed around them.
"Duty, you wear that rather well Mandalorian," she says with a little tease on it. Shifting forward Irevessa lays her forearms down onto her knees as to add Soleene into feeling more as equals, "My offer is actually something you and your Mandalore would be quite happy for. I have my own reasons, and means to do so- but I need the skilled help to slip an incoming ship under the radar in a couple weeks. Should offer us, more specifically you, an opportunity to mess around with the Empire's systems? Maybe even cause a little destruction and mayhem, eh? Then.. well, when we finish with that I have a bigger target and that will send the Empire wheelin'," she rests, and leans back once more.
"Not a bad pitch, wouldn't you agree?" she says, confidently wearing quite the smile.

In the time it took to make her pitch, the blue-haired woman has returned with Bardon. Not interrupting she shifted along past knees of those inside the alcove who all parted to make plenty of room for her passing. Taking in to the seat beside Irevessa she puts a hand on the other woman's shoulder to show her she was there but, luckily for Sofia, Irevessa was too busy to notice many details about Sofia's return and how she looked just a little shaken seeing Soleene here.

"Not bad at all," she said with a few nods of her helmet. "So, this sounds less of a side job and something that's more in line with what we're trying to do. I can't say I'm exactly a general of this operation, that's entirely up to Mandalore and what he sees in the grand scale of things. Depends on how many people you need for what you have in mind. I know I can spare myself, anyone else will need a good reason to be dragged around. In a few days and depending on how things might pan out, we might not be walking around so freely."
She's rather not be holed up in a bunker but who knows how things will go?
Soleene tilted her head up slightly and might have raised her brows under her helmet but didn't quite say much at the moment at Sofia's appearance.

"More hands the merrier," she says with a dash of charm. As she relaxes she looks for Sofia to return to her expected position and Sofia abides. Resting her head against Irevessa's shoulder she cozies up against the other woman. Turning her gaze elsewhere rather than on the conversation for the majority of this starting piece, but does eventually come back to watching Soleene. Irevessa, of course, is attentively focused on her possible partner, "Anything we might be able to relieve the Imperials of, of course, would happily be granted to those who find their hands to aid the endeavor. Though-" she does give a sharpness there to cause pause- "Not too many mm? We are not quite as yourself, and are not warriors. We're not looking to get into an extended fight with the Empire and so not too many new hands."
"Yourself, and one to three others at most. That much I can make use of, anymore and it would cause me unnecessary problems," she glances away, fetching herself her cup from the table.

Soleene found herself tilting her head slightly when Sofia took her place next to Irevessa. However, this was business and that bit of side story probably shouldn't have anything relating to that. Her attention would return to the captain easily enough and she nodded at that as she crossed her arms. "Got it, so you want us to cause a bit of trouble but not exactly stir things up enough to alert the whole hive. I think that's something that I could manage. Admittedly, keeping a low profile isn't exactly my style but there might be one or two that closely fit the bill."
"So...what about the other details? I'm guessing you're not needing help with the ship itself but something more grounded here. Is something managing their blockade?"

"So astute," she says, grinning not unlike a devil. "On the ground here the Imperials will almost certainly have set up there own little air traffic control to maintain authority over the region. Soon as they figure out where you and yours have there little base- and they'll find out, it's only a matter of time till they are certain you're near here. They will set up some basic air perimeter and defenses, the kinda stuff that can track incoming ships and dispatch Tie's," she brings a hand up, collecting one of Sofia's arms across her own lap and lightly brushes along the other woman's forearm.
"We'll need to disrupt those, our people can spoof and run past the Star Destroyer in orbit and the defenses they'll launch from there."

"Heh, well, I do have my good days occasions," she snickered under her helmet at that thought with a few sound nods. "But yeah, that does make something that's pretty complicated and out of my league a hell of a lot easier to do if they have something so simple as some little air traffic control place. I'm sure that's something I can handle. Do we have an idea of how many people are running such a thing? And where it's found?"

"Not yet, just planning ahead. Folk I got coming won't know the situation on the ground, and I already can't contact them with that Star Destroyer floating out there. So I need my people, and you, to be ready the moment it's time to get down and dirty with it," she chuckles briefly, a little infected by the added joviality of the moment- and the booze.
"Until then.." she leans up and Sofia follows suit in leaning off of her. "Get acquainted with my crew. You already know Bardon, that is.." and she proceeds to rattle off at least 10 or so names of folk who weren't super important finally finishing in the one she also already knew, "And of course this is Sofia. She's.. part of the crew, but new. Treat her well enough mm? I am a little fond of her," she teases with that energy of a woman who didn't have many people in her life who dared to tell her no.

Soleene let out a deep sigh, feeling a bit deflated that it wasn't exactly time to go. "If you're looking to get me flustered and bothered, I suppose you've just done the job. But, I get it, nothing happens instantly and especially now with all these Empire goons around. I guess this will give me time to get some people in on this mission. It'll stop me from dragging out whoever I see, I guess, put more thought into this as you get your things in order."
There was a tilt of her head when she mentioned Sofia was part of the crew. Finding her sitting at someone's side and being their company, it can happen. Being part of Irevessa's crew, however...
"Huh, Sofia?" She said at first, trying to hide her surprise. "She's a new one but alright. I didn't know that you were also picking up people while you were settling here. I guess when you get good help, you get good help. Can't blame you, it's why I'm here."

Irevessa laughs, loudly and haughtily, "Oh- no no no dear," she says, stifling the last few giggles that persisted, "no, Sofia joined us some time ago, back on Coruscant," she said, smiling. Letting the confusion register with a secondary pause and, "I simply kept her father busy most of the trip here, you see. Not too long before we took your.. well, let's call it contract?"

"Irevessa spoke about an attractively rough individual she'd met over the trip-" she pauses, "but I hadn't thought it would be you. Never thought I'd.." she hesitates long enough for..

"So you two know each other?" Irevessa simply interjects, unintentionally saving Sofia from continuing that thought.

Soleene let out a breath and shifted her standing stance a little. If Sofia wanted to keep their history together under the table, she was going to respect that, especially when rolling with a crew like Irevessa. Not all workplaces allow for carry-on baggage, so to speak. However, now that the manka cat was out of the bag...
"Yeah, we know each other. Not too surprising, I find myself in a lot of places as a Mandalorian," she said simply.

Leaning into Irevessa a bit, she grabs the Captain's attention most directly, "Irevessa I did tell you I've been on all sorts of adventures across the galaxy mmm? Flitting from port to port as the free spirited gal you know I am," she leans in, teasing a kiss on Irevessa's lips but doesn't commit to it. Holding on Irevessa's shoulder most for support as she focuses her gaze on the Captain.

"Didn't I tell you to use Captain in front of the crew?" Irevessa returns to Sofia's tease with a greedy grin, leaning in herself but not committing anymore than that either.
