Who knew, maybe any of the locals here would know about a missing doctor, missing mechanic, or even a long-gone mayor? Raven figured it wouldn't hurt to check it out. Not that this was her kind of place. The music wasn't that good for starters. And pirates... she kind of had her fill of that type on Nar Shaddaa during her time there, but well, she supposed there could be honor among thieves too sometimes.

Stepping inside with the cloak wrapped around her, concealing most of the armor, her eyes glanced through the visor of her helmet to take in the clientele of the locale as she walked in. Blend casually, or something, as Garen had said.

Scum and villainy, they were all getting very used to seeing Mandalorians walking among them. In weeks, months, and certainly today they'd seen plenty of the armor that it barely even caught a special glance.

Well, most of the time.

Nothing in particular seemed to stand out to Raven as she approached the bar... maybe.

Among the many faces, none strike out as too different. Just a weird collage of different unknown folk. Whatever she was hoping to learn here, there was an unlikeliness to it as the sense of where to begin was a little dizzying. When walking forward again she'd find a hand on her shoulder. A man whom she didn't know, and had no reason to know, stopping her and saying with an easy smile, "There's a friend of yours on the other side of the bar. Mandalorian, real fancy lookin' set. Been asking around about you," he says, and lets his hand off her shoulder.

"Figure everyone deserves a good turn eh?" he says with pleasant smile, and takes a sip of his drink in hand. Leaving Raven to decide if this person was a threat or not, as he'd done his part.

The helmet hid her look of surprise. What was visible was her nod to the man. "Thanks." Maybe it was a trap and maybe it was not... she was too curious too not check it out.

Moving over, she looked for this 'friend'.

At the counter there was a lost soul, a woman who seemed nearly out of place and towered over those around here. Dressed in a fine looking suit of beskar with a fur draping over her shoulders. She didn't seem to notice Raven until Raven had gotten very close to her, but the menacing aura of the woman was familiar. Turning to Raven at her approach the tall woman shifted a smaller rodian thug out of her way and stepped forward, a large satchel easily carried in her hand.

"Raven Cadera," she says, her voice deep and sinuous. "Dex sent me. I.. was not expecting to find you so easily," she says, a touch of relief deep within.

Raven looked the other woman over. It took her a second, but she did recognize her. It wasn't that long ago they met on a backwater world, when she had come looking for Dex.

"Tir, if I recall correctly," she said with a nod, and offered an armored hand in greeting. "Dex sent you? I'm all sorts of curious of what she's up to now, if she sent you here?"

Tir claims Raven's hand, shaking it with a strength she would expect from any Mandalorian, "Moving on. I.. am sorry to be the one to share the news," she says, and reaches down into her armors chest piece between her sleeve and the beskar. Retrieving from a safe place within she removes a proper pen and paper letter, a rarity. Offering it to Raven with some level reverence for apparent importance to the endeavor.

Raising her satchel in her hand to indicate it came with more, "Best to leave it to her words."

The helmeted head tilts to the side in a curious manner as Tir retrieves the letter. Actual paper... such a rarity in a world of technology that had long abandoned such ways for more efficient and superior ways. Perhaps it was because of Praxton's fondness for such formats that Raven removed her an armored glove to accept the paper with her bare hand, letting her calloused fingers delicately trace the grain of the paper as she unfolded it.

It was... good news, but mostly sad news. Something in her posture changed, reflecting the soft pangs of anguish she felt about this. That Dex was doing well, was alive, and not alone were the good news. But she was lost to her now. For a brief moment she felt conflicted, if she should seek her out, and bring her back, but... no. Raven realised that this was what was best for Dex, even if it hurt her.

"She is alive and well. I can't ask for more," she finally said, her words bearing some of the sorrow she felt. "Thank you for looking after her, Tir."

"I don't need thanks, I helped her because she deserved it. I came here, because she asked. I have not done anything deserving of your gratitude," she says with steel in her voice. With heft in her arm she hands over the satchel which Raven would certainly conclude contained the armor which Dex once wore. When she took it, however, she would note that it was heavier than she expected. As not only was Dex's armor returned but that of Silas was within as well.

"However," she says, and with the satchel handed off focuses even more directly on Raven than she had prior. "I still will walk this path, and I have no family to call my home. I do not wish to join yours, I must make that clear. Know simply that while I am still present, because of the respect Dex had for you, you may call on me if you ever have need Raven Cadera. I will fight for you, and this Prayton Saxon, should you wish it."

Raven wasn't going to argue the point of gratitude and silently took the bags of armor. Kriff, she remembered how proud Dex was in it the first time...

Lost in thought for a second in her thoughts, she needed a moment to process what Tir said. "I see... and your assistance is welcome. We'll be having some difficult days ahead with the Empire here. Do you have a safe place to stay?"

"I am certain, the Empire is scum. I understand from Dex that you have been a thorn in their side once, an honorable effort," she says, focusing first on that. Shifting a little, glancing around the space before them. "I could make do here, it is not the most comfortable but I have traveled for a long time among the scum of the galaxy."

A man beside her glances over giving both Mandalorians a dirty look.

Once she had already caused problems for the Rebuilders by bringing outsiders in. Not that Tir was an outsider in the same way, as she was a Mandalorian too... but given the current situation, caution would perhaps be best. "I can talk with my people, see if room can be provided, if you need it." Perhaps it could be a home for her too, she dared to think for a moment, even with the wound of Dex's loss still fresh. "Things are... complicated these days, as you can imagine, given the situation."

Tir shakes her head in the negative, "I could not ask you to do that, I am a stranger and times are indeed tough. I would not wish to wear on the sanity of your warriors leaving them to half-sleep at night wondering when the knife may come to their backs," shaking her head once more. "No, much as it would aid me in aiding you as I must do I do not think I would make such a difference to make up for the potential of that loss. I will be near, and ready for when the time comes. Should you need me, you only need leave word here. Elmira is a kind woman, and I would trust her well."

Tir understood, so Raven nodded. It seemed they had an accord of sorts. "Alright. Sounds good. In time though, I hope you'll get to meet the others in our enclave." Her voice dared to sound hopeful, of bringing more of the Mandalorians together.

"I will look forward to the opportunity, Raven Cadera," she says, that steel in her voice becoming a touch more noticeable in the moment. "But for now, I should see to getting myself situated with my accommodations here. If I may ask your leave?"
