Varina, for once in her life, was able to follow instructions. Her table for the day was exactly like the note said. Who doesn't send messages these days? Well, if this was about Rezzie, then she might as well not drink.

Varina would sit there for a long time alone. Waiting, left to wait. If she gave it thought she might come to the conclusion that she was being tested. Or, perhaps, she would be distracted by the thought that she was foolish for believing some sketchy note delivered to her by some trashy looking punk (the not cool kind.)

However, right before her will would give out and no sooner would a man appear groomed in such a way that he could only be an Imperial.



"Please don't cause a fuss, my note was sincere and this is no trap," he assures, taking a seat to the right of her. Laying out a datapad in front of himself with diagrams and numbers that she wouldn't recognize.

"I mean, the fact that you mentioned any traps makes me wonder if there is one." Varina kicked her feet back up, not moving them as he put down his stuff. "Especially with an accent like that."

She tapped her boots on the table. "Well, I don't really feel like getting blood everywhere. Don't know why your kind would work with me."

"My particular kind is more concerned with getting the job done in the best manner possible. Working with the likes of you is.. actually, quite common. You are a woman with a need that lines up with something my superiors desire. We scratch each others backs, I believe the saying goes?" he says, the touch of a smile from a man who was clearly satisfied with himself.

"I have information on what happened to your friend.. Mith'rezz'itundo, birth name. Though it appears her father has risen from that name some time ago," he waves his hand, discarding that divergent thought. "Rezzie, I believe she now goes by with you however? I can tell you where to find her. As well as details on what you might expect to find there."

"Oh, right. Dirty hands and all that." Varina held hers up and waggled her fingers. "Might not want to get my dirty fingernails all over your back." She dropped them afterwards and rolled her eyes. It wasn't like she never worked with any Imperials in her life. Never liked any of them, though.

Mainly because of the catch. "So is this about her captors being part of some rival faction then?" In truth, she was willing to do what she needed to in order to reach Rezzie. It was the least she could do given, well, their whole history together.

"Dirty hands? Rival factions?" he cracks a smile, shaking his head the way adults always did when they were speaking with adorable children who didn't understand the world. Varina wasn't quite a kid anymore, and yet that smile was a blast from the past.

"I'm afraid you watch too many spy movies, or whatever it is you get such thoughts from. No, less concerned with dirty hands as even mine are filthy. It's all about.. perspective. Certain situations require the correct lens, you see. If the team sent to dispatch these louts were Imperial Storm troopers our hand would be revealed... but if it was simply a young woman chasing after the sanctity of her lover? Well.. nobody asks questions we would rather them not."

"Now, to business.." he removes a small tracking fob from inside his jacket pocket. Sliding or across the table. "I know well that the captain hired for this op is a mercenary captain. This fob is from the bounty hunters guild, and this will serve our purpose. Follow the fob, find the captain, and you will find your friend Rezzie. After that.. well, you do what it is you Mandalorians do best, mm?"

Varina scratched the back of her head. "I don't know, this sounds a lot like you want me to take on a rival." She let out a wistful sigh. "But sure, there's no reason to doubt that a fight between us wouldn't be totally one-sided. Shame, really, since I like seeing Imperials squirm."

When it came to business, she pocketed the fob without hesitation. "Okay. I'll walk in, kill everyone there, everyone else lives happily ever after."

"Precisely," he says with a gentleman's smile. "There will be the adjutant to her father there. A woman whom goes by the common name of Tora. Though she will likely not offer direct opposition it is possible, she is still a military officer after all. As far as the mercenaries they are all Chiss and are five strong. They are hardened men, be warned. They are based out of their ship in the forest and will receive permission to leave planet within the day so don't tarry long."

"If you have no questions, I do believe our business concludes here."

"It's always the Chiss. Glad I have bureaucracy on my side this time." Varina got up from the table, glanced around the bar, then back at the guy in front of her. "You got any credits to spare?"

"For what? Your tab? That is covered by the Empire this time," he says, but is already half back into his datapad reading into the numbers displayed.

"Well I didn't have anything to drink this time." Varina placed a foot on her former seat and tucked away any loose strands of hair. "So I'm asking for the next time. And the time after that."

"You mean to suggest you are looking for work?" he asks, his brow raised and interest certainly gained.
