What party is complete without enough alcohol for everyone? With that in mind, Forte takes Fitz with him to the colony in hopes of finding goods and news as to where the two can later do some salvage work. Even in a small town, there needs to be some sort of trash site, and even among the trash there's bound to be a little treasure.

As you make your way thru the town, you stumble across a...rather odd sight. A B2 series droid walking around the area, keeping a eye out on the citizens, although clearly not being hostile or doing anything of interest, other than clearly patrolling the area.

It approaches you as you ask around the citizenry for you inquiry and stares you down. Its voice appearing to be quite...different.



"Likelihood of troublemaking from current Mandalorians is 35%. Range is within acceptable parameters to to cause inquiry." It paused and stared at the two of you, as if there was a suspicious tone to it. "Mandalorian, why are you inquiring about parts. Is your intentions law-breaking?"

His glance would also almost suggest like it was sizing the two of you up, although if there was any intention of hostility, it was not immediately apparent.

"No, it is not. We were hoping to find things we can use to do repairs just in case the imperials decide to do something hostile again. Did you hear what they did yesterday?"

Fitz had been satisfied with letting Forte do the talking, but felt the need to speak up when the sheriff started questioning their purpose.

"Nothing illegal Sheriff. You know how many people I've helped in town, I'm not going to suddenly show up and do something that would hurt anyone. We're just wanting to purchase some supplies... maybe sift through some junk later and see if we can't make use of some of it." He scans the droid up and down for a moment, "Who knows, maybe I can find an upgrade or two for you..."

[Flession]

B2-PD stares at Fitz, glancing it over. "Your attempt to bribe a officer of the law is noted and will be logged." His eyes glow red at this. "However, as this model has been fully upgraded and brought to higher performance standards from previous models to ensure that law and order are maintained in New Hope. Including against Mandalorians, if need be."

The droid pauses for a moment and processes something before continuing. "However, as the short Mandalorian has stated the Imperials have become more active in their attacks and have caused a 38% stress level increase to overall citizenry, and the potential to deputize would help ensure proper levels would return."

Another long pause.

"My risk analysis of the situation deems it necessary to assist you in this task. The parts are currently from mostly Separatists. I will give you the coordinates to establish other potential uses of any droid or weaponry leftovers from the era. I cannot give current information of its effectiveness, however, and I will expect a report on what was taken and its intended use to ensure proper protocol is maintained."

"Well... it's not a bribe if we're not looking for anything in return. You know I've given freely at the clinic to help the colonists and I intend to give freely if there is something I find that can help New Hope's defense capabilities as well as our own.

We will make a detailed accounting of what is found and to what use it can allocated."
