Having touched base with Garen, and along with him asked if Fé wanted to tag along to the colony, the little group of Mandalorians headed out to New Hope. Raven knew that Praxton had managed to establish some rapport with them, but she wasn't sure exactly what to expect of the colonists there. Would they feel uneasy with a couple of Mandalorians showing up on their doorstep, considering their reputation?

Raven shrugged slightly, the plates of her armor moving almost fluidly with the motion thanks to its fine make.

Fé noticed the shrug, walking along casually in tandem. She didn't have her flamer with her... at least not the one big enough to induce any additional stress in the locals. She noticed the shrug, but without facial expressions to go on, all she could do was ask.

"Cred for your thoughts, Raven?"

"Hmm," was the first reply, as if she was sorting out her thoughts into words to answer Fé. "Just thinking. Praxton's been getting along with the colonists well enough, but I don't know how they'll be reacting to the rest of us."

Raven herself also travelled a bit more lightly, keeping her sword and pistol with her, but the carbine had been left back home. No need to worry the folks by showing up in full combat-gear, especially since they probably considered the armor scary enough. "Just don't wanna make more enemies, you know? Got enough with the Imps coming in."

"Well, hopefully, they'll at least be used to the armor, since he's been dealing with them for a little while," she reasoned. "Beyond that, I've noticed when I'm trading that if they're used to that and you act like a normal person, most people don't even blink about it after a couple of visits."

She looked to her. "Which actually reminds me, I appreciate the invite. I've been meaning to get over here, but sorting out the shipment took longer than expected."

Garen was there, but he tended towards the strong and... well, not quite silent type. Quiet type, anyway. He didn't have his big hammer, but he did have his medium hammer.

Indeed, he broke his silence. "Hopefully they won't mind this many of us showing up. Four soldiers might not be too bad, but four Mandlorians..."

A rough chuckle came from his helmet. "Act like a normal person, right. I'll do my best."

Up ahead, more toward the towns center near the center they would eventually be able to spot Praxton's armor out from the rest of the colonial bustle. Beside him was a woman whom few likely have bothered to meet, but could have been well known enough to some as the towns current mayor. Even with the empire looming their conversation appears casual from the distance or perhaps even friendly.

"Hey, I'm happy to have you here." While her smile wasn't visible, there was a warmth to her tone. "Good to have folks here that can act, uh, normal, as you put it."

Garen's words made her chuckle a bit. "Just fly casual huh?"

Seeing the familiar figure ahead, Raven raised her arm to wave in greeting on their approach. Seeing Praxton always brought her joy, and she was proud to see he was getting along well with the locals.

She shrugged. "Normal in the sense of 'nothing is amiss and I'm not out of place here', just for clarity. Normal can mean a lot of things."

Waving over in return to his wife, it would be hard to see the smile he did wear under his helmet. Without a secondary thought he is quick to be sure to beckon the group over. Never the most expressive of men he certainly was ever glad to see he might have help. Considering he was the only one between the big three that even thought about the folk out here..

"It took me a while to not feel out of place wearing armor outside of the Enclave." Garen admitted. "It was all fine there, but outside, I felt like a bantha in an antique shop." He shrugged. "Guess I got used to the armor."

He wouldn't take the lead, but he'd follow the other two over to Praxton.

The Zabraki woman looks over at the group Praxton had motioned over and gave them a look as they walked over. "I assume they are your people, Praxton?"

She gave a smile as they arrived to their location and nodded her head.

Fé steps up, nodding. There's no expression on the gray with red accents helmet, but she can hear the smile and friendly tone of her voice. "Fé Kelborn. Great to meet you." She looked toward the other two.

"They are," he added simply as the group has approached.

When they did, Praxton did his share to the introduction, "This is Mayor Jalress. A good sort with a couple of local problems," he offers, but the slight raise of his hand near his side shows how he reminds himself to wait through the introductions of the others.

"Raven Cadera," Raven introduces herself, her own helmet not showing any expressions, but she sounds friendly and cheerful. "Happy to meet you, and looking forward to helping out."

"Garen Saxon." Garen introduced himself with a nod.

But that was all for now. He'd say more if it seemed like he was needed.

Jalress looks on as the other Mando's come in to converse with her and Praxton. "Not so bad yourself, Praxton. Pleasure to meet you three." She'll nod her head others. "Yes, have to say I like the convivence on the timing, I would say. Wish my husband would show up every time I talked about him, make my life easier. Anyways, I was just discussing with Praxton here about it, but was hoping some of your people could look into our missing mechanic. Seemed to come in a few days ago, cause a mess in her shop, and just peaced out." She quirks her mouth a little. "Can't say that's all too surprising giving her personality, but, uh, we have stuff she needs to work on. Not to mention our sheriff could use a tune-up soon."

The helmeted head tilted to the side thoughtfully. "Sounds weird. Has anything like that happened before with your mechanic, since you weren't that surprised?"

"Most of the time they come, go do something, and wanders off to go test something for a few days in the woods every once in awhile. Disappearing isn't the issue, it's that the shop is now wrecked as they left. Don't know what the hell that means, really. Not really sure if that means we just lost a mechanic or something else. That, and tack on our missing doc, and my week just became one big headache after another."

She rolls her eyes at Raven and sighs, rubbing her temples. "I swear..."

"That doesn't sound like a coincidence." Garen rumbled.

He looked at Vieth, making sure to shift noticeably so she could tell. "Is there anything you need done? I'm an engineer."

"Could be something shady, but they left at different times. Doc left to go check on some people about a week ago and our Mechanic left just the other day." She looks at Garen. "Very kind of you to offer, and I'm sure you can help with some things, but I'd rather have her take a look at our Sheriff, seeing as they rebuilt and reprogrammed him Not to mention he's, uh, personality is starting to show again."

Her eyes widened at that. "Really going to need him to get back here soon...but, uh, ya. Wish Doc at least told us where she went. Be nice if people used their damn heads, especially with the Imps landing..."
