[D2 MA] A Place to Find Yourself

Moving through the brush brought back memories for Cha. His hands move, if not with the hand of a master, with the practiced eye of someone who has spent more than a few nights underneath the stars by himself. The presence of a downed tree trunk offers a golden opportunity. Branches are pulled and lashed into place to form an impromptu set of rafters. A thermal cloak goes over it, pulled taut with wire. Moss and bark is sliced from nearby trees and layered to camoflauge the quick lean-to. Beneath it, he sets up a bed roll and clears out any more plant matter nearby, ringing a fire pit with stone. It's not that hard to pop open an explosive round from his pistol to provide a quick start to his kindling, and the primer provides the spark needed to set up a fire.
He looks back at the woman who he has brought with him.
"Are you doing alright? I can get some food on."

While moving through the woods, Forte Kryze would have actively attempted to help calm her down using his words. When he gets to the campsite, takes a moment to really get a good look at her if she's calmer.

May hasn't stopped talking the whole time, the short Mandalorian seems to have an endless number of improbable stories.
"And so after I said that, everyone got up on the tables and clapped. And that man's name? Moff. Tarkin."
She grins, again, helmet though.
"Anyway, looking pretty sweet here, isn't it?"

By the time they'd arrived, Ilena was seeming a little better. More cognizant for certain. As the adrenaline in her systems finally filtered out and she'd calmed to a relative semblance of peace she was never completely off edge. An errant sound in the wilderness would bring her attention snapping to it in an instant and stopping in her tracks. Only willing to move forward after she'd found what made the sound or was assured enough from her investigations that she wasn't walking further into a trap. Mayrelli was, however, treated once to the rare chuckle as strained as it was at the end of her joke.
Along the way, Ral had joined up with this group to check in on the progress and on behalf of the others radioed back to Vron and let him know that the rest could pack it up and go home and the problem was solved.
Merrium's rest was calm, and quiet. There was a peace here with the glowbugs dancing around. Among the group a few of the glowbugs came so close as to float around them, and the rare one landed on Ilena's shoulder.

After ensuring the place was safe and the stranger was calming down, Forte finally took a moment to put down his weapon and take a second to really get a sense of who she is. She had a lightsaber, but that doesn't necessarily mean she's one of the jedi, and if she's afraid of hunters she certainly isn't on the Empire's payroll.
(Do I need to roll for a more detailed description of the lady?)

With the pause, Cha sets out to the water. Rather than some meditation pose, he kicks his feet into to lake. Cha's thoughts drift to the past.
Theiving was a dirty business. No one ever walked away clean, not with their souls fully intact.
"An easy score, they'll give it up as soon as they see your helm"
It made him feel dirtier, knowing his tradition would be used that way even if the Death Watch never thought twice about it. Well, the marks hadn't and that's why they were camped out in the woods.
Cha hears the hammer cock on the slugthrower, the goon he was supposed to be providing muscle for drawing on him.
"They'll recognize you. They find your body, it's good enough for them."
Cha looks back, hand moving for his belt.
The shot catches him in the shoulder, launching him backwards. He can feel the blood flowing, the slug not cauterized by the blaster. The fool was pleased, so pleased that he mistook Cha's throw for a wild flail. He doesn't see the frag grenade until it's too late.
He howls, the stumps of his legs ending at the shin. Cha's foot stamps on the gun hand and he pries it free, checking the balance.
"The noise will bring them soon enough. I guess one more blast won't hurt."
Cha points the muzzle between the man's eyes.
The Bommer sounds once more.

[No need, she has ragged robes and a lightsaber. Other than that she just looks like a woman. Which is pretty much the same for Jedi even before the ragged robes part of their adventure. If you really wanna guess she is one, be my guess!]

"So you said something about a master while you were panicking earlier, miss. Do you want to talk about it? I've met a few jedi back during the clone wars."

"No," she says simply, and on that ask refuses to look anywhere near Forte's gaze.

And with that he understands there is no other chance for conversation at the moment. He simply lets the moment pass, walking towards the water's edge and takes off his helmet to get a proper drink.
