Figured we should have a thread to talk about it. At least opening moves. I can give multiple people a boost die with Improved Inspiring Word for 3 turns and give enemies a setback for 2 with Scathing tirade as a maneuver (also do unsoakable strain damage)

Raven is a woman of many talents for combat:
- Shoot from afar.
- Shoot up close.
- Stab.
- Capture alive.
- Throw grenades far.
- Bodyguard comrades.

... And that's all she can do in a fight.

Oh and forgot has a weapon which has accurate 2, can aim for free once a round, and basically ignores setback because of custom grip and good old optics enhancement suite

I can take the last slot this round, use the second part of inspiring rhetoric to give you guys back your strain. Just in case we want a second maneuver and an action

Lysa is decent at most aspects of combat. She shoots good, stabs good and makes things go boom really good. Though Mei has thrown a wrench in my usual schtik with the upgrade to my explosives.

All pcs have acted this round, thinking about next round, would you be cool with me going first and debuffing/shooting

If Lysa needs to stim, she should probably take the current PC slot?

so I don't usually talk this indepth about combat actions but this is pretty big and affects everyone. So Lysa has a thermal detonator with her. It looks like I can either hit group 2 and 4 or group 1,3 and crow.

Taking out two full squads would be good for us but also possibly taking out Crow and two partial squads would also help.

But if I hit 1,3 and Crow it also puts Forte and lysa in harms way I do have Selective Detonation so if I got at least 3 advantage (1 to activate 1 for lysa 1 for Forte) then thatd be fine.

Also as it's a grenade with breach and Base damage 20 we are certainly talking about damage to the ship in ways we could be trading one perilous situation for another.

Thoughts?

Yes she has a grenade launcher

Then I think you can hit all of them if you go for medium? Maybe not Freshie, but everyone else is within short of each other and not players.

I've already worked out with Mei who would be able to be hit and detailed in the post above

Mei didn't mention you were but you also stimmed lysa so theoretically you could be unless you moved away from her

If nothing else, pretty sure you can't boost self with 1 advantage, so that can be used on raven

Raven couldn't make another Maneuver after stimming Lysa (maneuver to get to her, maneuver to stim), so she needed that protection too.

As for the Warfare check, Raven is 2eP, but no way to remove Setbacks.

Lysa is 4eA and also no set back removal
