Ti'rok Glowbug
Classification: Insect
Average size: Bulbous, small. No larger than a dime.
Diet: Benthic
Distinctions: Known for the soft blue glow of their lower abdomen.
While this particular species is found solely on the planet Ti'rok and affected by the different wavelengths of the sun present in the system, it is largely unchanged from the majority of it's fellow glowbugs. However, there is one key exception to this fact as they are benthic feeders unlike many of their other-worldly cousins. Instead finding their way to sediment deposits which have a tendency to hold the nutrition they need to survive on their outer layer. Something that is most notably with particular deposits as swarms of these glowbugs will gather around them for a 'feast.' An event which creates quite the spectacle to behold.

Neri
Classification: Mammal
Average Size: Small.
Diet: Herbivores
Distinctions: Delicious, Pest, Live in Packs.
The neri is a species of small mammals that inhabits the planet Ti'rok, dwelling mostly in forests and underground tunnels. Their head-to-body length ranges from 51 to 63 centimetres (20.1 to 25 inches), with a 28–48.5 cm (11.0–19.1 in) tail, and it weighs between 3.2 and 15 kg (7.1 and 33.1 lb). A neri has dense grey-white fur all over its body, which also covers the tough hides of their backsides. As a neri matures, it grows small horn-like stubs on its back, with more appearing as they advance in age. Their flat physiques are shaped by their flexible ribs, which allows them to deform and elongate them somewhat simply by inhaling air. This works both for burrowing and squeezing into small tunnels in which they like to nest, and also to withstand blunt trauma to some degree.
They are herbivores and their primary diet consists of fruit (though they'll eat roots, leaves, and berries as well), particularly some of the sweeter fruits of Ti'rok. Assumingly because of this, their meat is described as very delicious and makes them suitable for a wide range of dishes. To protect themselves from predators, they bundle up together in their nests and inflate their bodies with their hardened backs facing outwards, forming a near impregnable wall. The size of neri nests varies, with some of the smallest groups being less than 6, while most are around a dozen or more.
Neri are relatively harmless, as they can be more a nuisance to get rid of if they decide to burrow near populated areas, and they have sometimes been drawn to generators and the like for the residual heat. Given their small size and cute appearance, some neri have been claimed as pets, though they do not really thrive well without a group.

Ottobas
Classification: Mammal
Average Size:
Diet: Omnivorous
Distinctions: Ornery. Domesticate-able. Thickum.
The ottobas are large semi aquatic mammals that are native to Ti'rok. Its habitat is the freshwater rivers and lakes, where their omnivorous diet allows them to live off of plants and fish alike. About the size of a regular private landspeeder, ottobas seems slow with its stocky shape and short legs, so it is a surprise that it is capable of running 30km/h (19mph) over short distances. They are big and heavy, with a thick hide, along with a thick layer of fat and skin, thus they are usually not fit for consumption. However, with proper care and preparation, one would be enough to feed a pretty large group of people.
Ottobas move together in family groups, spending as much time in the water as they do on land. Wild ottobas can be dangerous and unpredictable, and are very protective of their territories and family groups. When threatened they will attack with their powerful jaws, or try to run over a smaller opponent.
Some ottobas have been domesticated, allowing them to serve as beasts of burden, but it's not without its risks as they are big enough to almost swallow humans whole.

Spiralis-Dragon
Classification: Unknown.
Average Size: Large
Diet: Unknown.
Distinctions: Bio-weapon? Often dormant, otherwise extremely dangerous.
A rare beast of Ti'rok, few have lived to tell tales of encounters with a Spiralis-Dragon. It is said to dwell in the deepest forest, where it slumbers until something enters its territory. Some locals say that it's the remnants of something foul from long ago, while others claim it's a genetically created creature that was made to be used as a bio-weapon. Whatever it is, its origins are unknown.
The Spiralis-Dragon resembles a dinosaur-sized horse with a long neck and a beak-like mouth, which sports six large fang-like tusks on the lower jaw. They have poisonous scales like reptiles, that act like a carapace and their old scales rupture when struck and release the strong poison inside them. They have six long legs that support their body. The end of their back holds a growth reminiscent of a spiral snail-shell (hence the name spiralis) with multiple appendages that sometimes move around seemingly unrelated to its bodily movements.
Immensely strong, and their towering huge size makes them imposing figures. It is territorial, but doesn't appear to be particularly aggressive, as long as that territory isn't breached. It will hunt and attack any intruder entering its territory. Once close enough, it stomps and impales its prey with long, rigid legs that are able to chip durasteel. It possesses a great sense of intuition that almost resembles premonition, making it easy for them to accurately attack even targets much smaller than them. When further from its prey, the appendages growing from the snail-shell on its back open up and spit slimy projectiles consisting of a mixture of stony material from its organs and a secreted liquid. This liquid spreads out like a splash-effect, causing major damage to surroundings as well as its prey. It also uses this attack as an intimidation tactic against enemies.

Greater Ti'rokian Horned Toad
Classification: Amphibian
Average Size: Large
Diet: Carnivore
Distinction: Not bright. Fighty.
Resembling a car sized frog with a pair of distinctive horns atop its head this toad lurks in the shallow water of Ti’Roks great lakes waiting to ambush prey. Although not particularly intelligent, the size of the creature couples with a low cunning to make a fearsome predator. Typically the toad will ensnare a target with its tongue before goring them with its horns. A Horned Toad will take on any prey up to its size, including sentients, and can digest a meal for up to three weeks.

Plains Jolter
Classification: Mammal.
Average Size: Small
Diet: Insectivore.
Distinction: Defensive.
Resembling large bats with a rubbery skin, jolters roam the plains of Ti’Rok in small flocks hunting flying bugs. Acting like living bug zappers these creatures can channel a short by powerful pulse of electricity to both kill bugs and ward off predators. While not naturally aggressive, Jolters are extremely protective of their young and have been known to attack intruders coming too close to their underground nests.

Karinteer
Classification: Mammal
Average Size: Average
Diet: Carnivore
Distinctions: Apex Predator (technically)
The apex predator of Ti’Rok’s forests, the Karinteer resembles a six legged armour plated sabretooth tiger. Its armoured hard bristles with thorns, ensuring that even larger packs of other creatures stay well clear of a Karinteer on the prowl. These creatures are notoriously predatory and view every living thing that comes within their well defined territory as prey. Still, some brave hunters will go after a Karinteer as their boned armour is highly valuable.
