[Day 4, ME] Oaths and Oats
Cold anger rests fondly on her brow, a familiar friend. Jan Ordo stalks the halls toward the medical bay having recently left the room of Mandalore. Lips tensed tight with words she wishes to say, but cannot. There is little hope to keep everything private in the halls of a home filled by so many.

Re: [Day 4, ME] Oaths and Oats
Lysa had recently gotten back from the settlement where she was, surprisingly, helping to mend things rather than break them.
She was hanging out in a hallway with her hands in her pockets sort of contemplating her next move of the day and she saw Jan coming toward her.
"Oh! Heya Jan! You might not believe this but they let me be a doctor over in the town! I was pretty good at it too, I even remembered one of those thingies you told about how "you dont put ice on a burn, you use cool water." Lysa adopted a voice that was mock business like and proper when she parroted the lesson the other Ordo had given her once upon a time.
"And it worked! I think, the guy felt better at lea-" she paused finally processing Jan's expression "Oh dang are you good? You have that face you make when I come in after breaking myself but like only when it's been the second or third time in the same day."

"Medicine is not easy nor does it always make you feel better-" she snaps, eyes sharp as a woman who is processing misdirected anger. Hand realizing this as she presses two fingers to the bridge of her nose to soothe the pressure, eyes closing to mask their harshness.
"Medicine prolongs life and the quality thereof," she says forcing calm. Jan's Imperial accent leaks horribly when she's angry. Voice finding those deep tones she prefers to hide. "So long as you listen to what your body is telling you. Yet- in the end, we only stave off the inevitable."
Sucking in air to her chest, she says on an exhale, "Good job," as if to fill a quota, or to follow some other doctors orders.

Lysa held up hands in a pacifying gesture as the woman snapped. Lowering them slowly as she kept talking and smiling when she said good job.
"Well someone seems like a gloomy rancor today." She said clasping her hands behind her back "ya wanna talk about it doc? I mean we're kinda sorta family afterall." He head cocked to one side as she spoke but she gave Jan a wide smile.

"We are, but I must decline," Jan shakes her head, crossing arms tight across her breastplate. A heavy sigh leaves her shoulders hanging lower.
"Respect dictates I not speak further of it, the decision has been made. Understand I am merely hpset by my current circumstances but it is not something I, nor anyone I suspect,.has the ability to change."

Lysa nodded "mhm mhm I get cha, respect an all it's real real important but like you still get to vent right? Like you and me find a little secluded spot maybe get some drink, and you just kinda let it out!"
"Like right now you sort remind me of a casing thats got too much pressure in it, like a reaction with soo much stuff going on and you gotta vent it before you explode on someone."

"I-"
Jan exhales long and slow. Allowing herself a moment to find a center that keeps her a touch more palatable.
"I can't. It would be against my ethics, oaths, and personal code-" she bites the sentence short- "but, I understand what you are trying to do Lysa, and I appreciate it."

Lysa frowns the motion of it so exaggerated it managed to jostle a few strands of, currently teal, hair in front of her pink eyes. She huffed a breath out to move the hair from her face and when that didn't work she blew it harder and jerked her head.
She then returned her spur loll upon Jan so it could hit her with all of its unobstructed disapproval.
In short order She sighed and rolled her eyes "Fine Jaaaaaaan keep your secrets. But if you won't vent maybe you'll let me distract? We could get dinner, or watch a holo, or cuddle, or swap war stories, we could train, shoot stuff..." Lysa rattled off a few more increasing random activities "just something to get your mind off of whatever it is."

"I am not as frivolous with myself as you and Bura can be," she says with the disapproval of someone trained into being by upperclass parents. However, that look breaks with the eyes of a woman whom bucked those same parents when she decided to live her own life.
"Yet- yes, you can help distract me somehow, that would be agreeable and your logic is sound," she says.

"Yes yes, we already know you don't like to have as much fun as I do. No one questioned that smarty pants."
When she processed that Jan had agreed Lysa's eyes widened and a large smile broke out on her face "Yeeaaahhhh! What do you wanna doooo! So many possibilities. What do you usually do for fun??"

Re: [Day 4, ME] Oaths and Oats
"I-" she holds her tongue. Looking away from Lysa she tries best as she can to try and come up with an answer. Any answer really, any answer that wasn't:
" I read.."
" I read.."

Lysa gave her a look "ooooook well reading is good. Sometimes. Learning things is cool. But it's not really the kind of fun I was thinking."
She reaches a hand out smiling "Come on Jan lets go." her smile is energetic, a little wild, but also there's a softness to it, a caring behind all the freneticism of her usual expression.

"I-" she breathes in, steadying her inner anxieties a touch. Even battle hardened warriors face the stress of- socialization. "Okay- yes, please lead the way. We will.. have fun," she grimaces, but tries her best to hide it.

Re: [Day 4, ME] Oaths and Oats
Lysa's eyes got big as she smiled and giggled happily grabbing Jan and dragging her away with almost comical speed.
Lysa rattled off a few ideas and one was fishing which sounded surprisingly peaceful. Jan was likely confused by the lack of any fishing equipment as they arrived at the lake. Until Lysa pulled out the makeshift explosive and threw it into the water rapidly pulling Jan away as the water exploded upward and barely avoided drenching them. Lysa clapped in glee at the display running out to collect the fish that had landed on the shore.
When they returned Lysa dropped off their haul in the kitchens. she proceeded to show Jan the fine art of splatter painting in Lysa's workshop. except the way Lysa did it included no brushes, one simply dipped their hand in paint and then slung it across the canvas. It was a surprisingly physically demanding art form. Lysa almost fought the canvas slinging arms and feet covered in paint. Once or twice she would playfully hit the good doctor with a little paint chuckling lightly at her antics.
When they were finished refresher time was needed to clean off the rainbow that resulted from their activities.
After that Lysa set up speakers and a music player and played some loud music of varying styles, few of which were likely in Jan's normal repertoire but also some galactic hits and classics almost anyone was likely to know. This started as a karaoke type thing, Lysa singing and dancing and encouraging Jan to join her in singing. regardless if she did or not it eventually shifted into a dance party where she cranked the tunes and danced with a ferverous abandon and would do her best to get Jan to loosen up and dance with her laughing having a great time.
Winding down she set up a holo screen and made a den of blankets and pillows from her room and pilfered from other places along with some food she absconded from the kitchen with as snacks.
It was a horror holo that was delightfully cheesy but of some decent quality with good jump scares and some moments of tension. Ultimately though it made little sense and while the effects seemed to be resourceful they were lower in budget.
After scare that got Lysa a bit and she dropped some snacks with a squeal. She chuckles collecting them up and looking to Jan "See you made in one piece, wasn't so bad was it?"
