Catching up [Day 1, LE, Expecting]

[Hokuu Bukk]

A deep breath filled Hokuu as he entered Jaster's Rest Shop.
The smell of stale alcohol, spicy tobacco and old blood hit his nose.

The tall Zabrak stomped through the store and chose a table at a small alcove from which he could keep an eye on the door.

He was expecting a visitor, and was curious to see what his old sponsor had in mind when he suggested coming here today.

Throughout the rather large interior there were a great number of all sorts of the galaxies vagabonds mingling. One, two, many conversations that he could hear into as he made his way to his seat were all littered with mentions of the Imperials. Very few of the conversations mentioning their overbearing overlords were positive, and a fair number of those present cast judgemental gazes upon the Mandalorian armor as he walked through.

Still, he would not be robbed the ability to find a table. Settling into the alcove it wouldn't be long, near a minute, but Dredgen Ordo showed up and sat without much fanfare. Nodding to his counterpart once he settled in.

Hokuu nodded back.
Trying to read the atmosphere he simply asked "Business or Beer Time?"

[Dredgen Ordo]

"Beer time," he says, and the smile he cracks on his mug can be heard distinctly through the tone of his voice. Looking over toward the bar-top the hostess of Jasters can be seen tending to a small group of friendly customers. One of them even getting a playful bap on the back of a hand over something he'd said. Focusing back on Hokuu, Dredgen gives a sharp nod toward the counter.

"Do me a favor? Grab us some beers. Maybe find out what you can about the mistress over there," he raises a hand, "don't worry about it, nothing bad. Just.. don't much mention me, alright?"

"But of course" he said with a broad grin. Did his old sponsor have his eye on the hostess? Or did he have something else in mind?

He stood up and walked over to the bar, waved to the hostess and waited for her to appear.

[Elmira]

"Oh- you are too much," she says to one of the others in the little circle. Catching sight of Hokuu's signal she sends a nod his way before saying her quick goodbyes. Elmira's voice is one that betrays a frontier upbringing slightly, but not totally. Much as she grew on a frontier planet somewhere the woman was traveled enough that the very particular accent had muted itself overtime. Still, little accents shine through even with the little bit he's already heard.

Coming up to him at the bar she eyes over the man, smiling warmly and invitingly as only a proper hostess would, "What can I do for ya partner?"
