[D2 MM] Fett me a cup of Boba, please

"So any way, that is how I learned that staying in formation is usually useful, but not when ganging up on an enraged wookie pumped up with back-alley painkillers." Cassie popped her shoulders. "Shouting attack pattern alpha will do you no good if you're flying into the wall."

She sighed and glanced around looking for a place to sit. "Spot of tea before we move out to set up the perimeter?"

"Hey, at least you had an awesome fight with a roided up wookie. Even if it sounds like he almost won. Wish I could fight a roided up wookie...not because they're a wookie though! Anyone who's big and roided would be good....yeah let's get some tea."

May had been listening with uncommon attention to the story of squad vs wookie but now the prospect of a little food and drink (she'd worked out already and therefore legally could eat anything) fully grips her.
"Love the tea from this place, and the shortbread, it's just so wholesome, you know?"
She leads the two to a couple seats near the aquarium, nodding politely at the various creatures within.
"You're always so organised, you fold your clothes, set an alarm. I mean, you've just got things on lock."

Cassie smiled. "Dad was always big on punctuality. Taught me to fold my clothes all proper. Would sing off-key if I didn't wake up in time. Mom...she was more off the cuff. Still, she appreciated me doing the laundry at 8 and up, I'm sure."

She glanced at the aquarium. "Yup...some energy before we set out sounds good, to be fair. But hey, you, on the other hand? You don't do half-measures. It's really something. Also, on occasion, really, really, frightening."

"Ah, so that's why you can't sing, it's genetic."
May winks a gesture somewhat dampened by the helmet.
"Half-measures are laaaame. Also boring. Also ineffective. They're not meant to be frightening though...unless you're frightened by my brilliance that is. I'm just all about that instinct, that sizzle. You know when the time is right and you just gotta be in the moment? That's me every day. Also why I had to borrow your socks today, sorry!"

By way of apology she flags down the one waiter and gestures at the menu.
"I'll have a blue milk baiyu and my friend here would like a...."

"I'll have you know, my terrible singing has nothing to do with genetics, and everything to do with practicing blaster firing with no hearing protection." She nodded seriously. "I'll have a.... Hello there, general caffine, please." She smiled at the waitress.

Under her helmet.

"That does not make a lick of sense, but that's why I like you. I guess." She tapped on the table in impatience. "What do you think of all this..business going around?" She wasn't sure to mention the Imperial presence to the townies just yet.

"Tinnitus. It's our curse." She said, loudly.

"This business? Oh I'm freaking out man. I'm so high on adrenaline all the time. I'm tapping my foot, bouncing up and down and vibrating side to side. It's a lot, right? You feel me? Probably easier for you but the last time I saw business like this with that type of customer it was all sorts of bad. Not a fan, do not like."
