In the book, RAW the rules are either "take an addiction obligation" or essentially GM Fiat. Honestly not too sure what to ask myself, but wanted to put this out before I considered buying drugs.

Yeah, I'm confused about how much we have. We got 15 personal duty from the D3 event and 15 personal duty for the hiatus time.

That looks correct, but I must admit I will have to endeavor to double check what I meant back then. As for now know that at least current me and you are reading this the same way.

I'll give it some thinking as to how I want to handle it for PbP format. I might elect to use GM fiat for this, as if I see you making use of the drug too often then saddle you with an addiction. Or, otherwise, leave it in your hands if you feel your character would have developed an addiction to the substance.

Okay, so the answer is yes and no, and kinda complicated. It will not automatically be assumed to be 10 general duty, but should be an ask/goal in the vein of doing 10 duty worth of effort.

So long as you and I gauge your efforts as "yea, that's about right for what you can accomplish with that amount of time" (10 duty being the measure) it'll have different effects depending on what you do.

Not yet. I believe I still have a thing or two to do in order to make that process smooth. That or I have goofed and done things out of order, I will look into it.

Quick question - from what I understand, Duty coming from CC Obligation becomes Personal Duty, right? And Personal Duty we may spend however we like (yay tyranny!), but the uses are the same as those for Community Duty. Is that correct?

And finally - when should we declare Personal Duty spends? I'm guessing the where is our PFs, but do we do it anytime and it happens the next day, or is it a Session end thing? Or... is this just written somewhere and I completely missed it? XD

Typically I will update your spend next day when used for building something, and yes- personal duty you get to elect how and where it is spent.

Alternatively, Personal Duty may be spent on items. Rather than give a rundown again here that is listed on the forum under Duty rules.

Not as written but I will likely make mental note of it and reflect it in your interactions with the townsfolk on a personal scale.

For example getting four success' will reflect very friendly relations with the/certain townsfolk.

This is a bit off the wall, so I will completely understand if the GM fiat answer is "no":

Would a plasma grenade going off inside of the cave illuminate it? If so, would the check be against that flat?
