Back at it. The demands of preparing for invasion had taken priority, but the search was now back on. Cha had called together the group from before to go back to the structure they had been exploring to find the mechanical bay. Now was the time to try the other direction.

This group of able bodied warriors would descend once more into the depths of these ruins, step by step. Except this time... was something different?

Up ahead Suis was able to see the tracks of troopers hidden among the rolunble, and the troopers ahead themselves. Multiple groups at least, and the ones that he saw weren't aware of their presence just yet far as he could tell...

.. crumble, crash, the pattering of a stone falling into water.

Well, looks like it's a fight.

Fitz steps forward bringing his shield to bear facing the Imps. He takes a defensive position while raising his arm as a small panel in his palm slid back, revealing a barrel. A holographic crosshair projects itself from his palm along with a small red dot laser marking his target.

The beam strikes true and sucks the thermal energy out his target, leaving a thin layer of frost on their armor instead of the typical scorch marks they receive.

Rubble shakes as the munitions unleashed by Cha's weapon sends vibrations through the wall. Troopers shout among one another as they fall into the cover that slowly splinters apart but holds strong. They're lucky, they're not the ones targeted by the cryoban rifle which streaks through and freezes the mobile parts of a couple troopers armor locking them in place. Terrified, the troopers are stuck where they are as the battle begins to rage around them.

Finding a break in the volley unleashed by Cha a number of troopers from the first squad pop from cover quick to get off a few shots on their initial target. The galaxy respected Mandalorians for being supreme warriors but they hadn't faced a squad of specialized troopers yet.
