Yellow lines mark these troopers as different, as a heavy weapons team. They stride in under their commanders orders and take position at the center of the line the stromtrooper regulars have created. Guns whirring up they take aim on the most vibrant of the Mandalorians down range. Bolts whirr and scream through the air turning the main hall to the helm into a battleground once more.

Amid the volley of death the chaotic laughter of one of the gunners can be heard, enjoying every moment of intensity.

"Lysa you still with us??" he shouts over the din of battle. Stepping out from behind his cover for a moment to place a well aimed hit into the heart of one of the encroaching troopers sending him to the ground and tagging the other off his pauldron. Finding safety from return fire again he seems distant a moment.

Looking to his wife he breaks through the slight haze, "I'm.. not sure what I did to that woman," he says, and though she can't see it Raven can sense the awkward smile he gives while he's trying to wrap his head around something.

"Gunners! That one there is their leader, open fire on my mark!" she screams, and the bloodthirsty gunner team starts mentally lining up their next volley. Taking up her own blaster the sergeant directs them further by leading with the first shots in Praxton's directions. Ancient durasteel walls rebuke these bolts and disperse the energy with which they intended harm.

Forte makes his move to ensure better odds. He moves out in front of Lysa, blasts the group of troopers closest to him, making nice contact.

The bolts slam into Lysa pulling her from cover and then the heavy team rips into her leaving smoking sizzling holes in her armor.

"Oh Praxy you know it take more than that to keep ME down!" There's a wild edge to her voice as the robotic arm on her back grabs a stim from the pouch and stabs her with it drugs flooding her system.

"You wanna play boys and girls, I'll bust out the fun toys then!" She runs up to some cover closer to the troops and selects a concussive grenade before firing it at the heavy weapon crew. She laughed gleefully as it connected with one of them and a loud blast of fire and force reverberated out tearing through people close to the target and disorienting people near by.

Crow covers her, treating her like a child- but she isn't anyone's child, not anymore. She's her own woman with honor to avenge, a mother to respect. Brushing him off her shoulder she darts between the fire of Imperials and Mandalorians. Digging knee into dirt to find the chance to take her shot.

Pinging one, two- click-whirr, just when she has him in her sights the damn blaster rifle runs dry.

"I want Praxton Saxon's head on a spike! This isn't playtime you psychotic disco-ball!" she shouts.

Fresh meat always wants to rush off to the butcher, but even in his relatively few years Crow has seen that happen far too many times. Grunting he pushes himself hard to catch up with the youngster and plants himself right beside her once more. Elbowing her side when he gets there with a goos thrust.

"No need to rush to your ancestors kid. Keep with me, we'll get all of them. Even Praxton, I promise," he says, and digs in. His shots scoring well against the Mandalorian in their sights.

Praxton trying to wrap his head around the situation with the accusations does also interrupt Raven's own intense battle focus for a moment, though the explosion from Lysa's grenade snapped her out of it. "Stay focused, riduur."

Letting her actions speak louder than words, she adjusted her hold on the carbine and aimed a devastating shot on the one that had dared to start shooting at her husband.

"Boom-Boom, Forte, keep pressing the Imps! We'll keep these occupied."

It was a devastating shot lined up to be sure. One that would compromise the young warriors ability to enact her honor in this critical moment. It was milliseconds. Time between thoughts and thoughtful decisions. Simply the built up accumulation of desires and hopes that create those dime-drop spur of the moment decisions.

Crow pushes her out of the way, taking the full brunt of the volley with his beskar. Raven's bolts crash against his armor instead of hers.

"Dank farrik, just remember what it costs.."

Crow's talents reduce the critical from Compromised to Scattered Senses removing his ability to utilize boost dice for the remainder of the encounter.

An explosion with a sound like air sucking into a tight central space cuts everything else out. Centered right beneath the gunner teams feat they probably didn't even know they were dead before it happened. Their sergeant, however, was thrown back a good five feet from the blast. Surely, when she could make sense of the world again, plans were going to have to change.

Group 5 is eliminated.
Sergeant is affected by Blast.

Pressure. Pressure. So much pressure. If they didn't act now they were going to be wrong, but what if they choose poorly? Run? Fight? No good options. Never good options. An explosion goes off, taking with it a couple more lives in this fight that feels so senseless.

Safety. Hope. Survival? Take down the danger, be a hero? Fight. Fight.

Last of their squad the trooper lines up a shot against Lysa. Bolts fling past, around, but never quite through her. Some so strike though, right against the beskar sending her into a spin. She was left open. Would someone save them?

They weren't going to let their comrades down. After an attack like that? The way she pushed down into their line like some kind of crazed maniac? Maybe the Empire should do something about these Mandalorians. They are clearly too dangerous to allow to continue on. They're only going to hurt themselves and others.

Honor? Patriotism? Kriff all that. They were here for a job, and these Mandalorians were the targets. Soon as they were dead on the ground they could go off to some other assignment that might be a bit cushier than all this extra work. Just had to keep fighting, push through, and finish this.

That Freshie kid was good to them once. Sat with them while they were having their meals and told them her story. Not all of the team could really relate, but a couple could. No one could imagine the strength it really took to dedicate to a path like hers but she had. If this was what she wanted.. well, maybe they could help her even the odds.

"Thin the numbers! Watch yourselves," he shouts, speaking to the others in Mando'a. There was worry in his movements that Raven could see, the way that Forte and Lysa had become exposed was dangerous. Now it was a scramble to see who would be left standing.

Readying for the long haul, the seasoned warrior takes the moment to fill his veins with life saving medical intervention. Breathing in deep in the wake of the rush he ducks out to fire two well aimed shots taking down a trooper each.

"Damnit," the sergeant hisses. Her head ringing from the blast. Comm chatter screaming in her ear, but a quick glance shows none of the other troopers are hearing what she's hearing. Dusting herself off the sergeant comes to a stand as quick as she can, scrambling to her feet.

"Hold the line! Reinforcements are on the way!" she calls out, and then retreats back into the previous chamber from which they entered.

Seems confronting the real warriors would have to wait a bit, as Raven redirected her focus at Praxton's orders. The carbine in her hands hummed with energy as she advanced steadily forward. She didn't like leaving Praxton's side when there were someone specifically after him, but Lysa needed help, and well... she was someone who preferred fighting up close and personal.

Firing off shots to cover her advance alongside Praxton's shots, she quickly pulled a stim from her pouch and injected it into her colorful sister, hoping it would keep her going a bit more. "Don't leave us yet, Boom-Boom," she said, continuing the barrage of point blank bolts at the same group Praxton was firing at, focusing their assault.
