Re: GM Questions
How are we handling defenses in this game? RAW, stacking up to 4, or something else?

Re: GM Questions
Let's do stacking up to 4, that sounds agreeable. I always do find it a little silly that cover becomes inconsequential if you have heavy armor.

Re: GM Questions
Two questions about the Micro-Rocket Armor Mounting attachment.
1. Would it be Ranged - Light or Ranged - Heavy? The ammo says heavy, the stand alone pistol says light and the attachment doesn't say either. If they were larger, I could see it being heavy, but if it specifies wrist guard/bracer mounted and it's micro, something like Whistling Birds or Boba's kneepad launchers or small enough to load up and fire three out of a ranged light pistol. I would think that would be light? I guess it comes down to are they larger or smaller than something like a grenade that is a Ranged - Light projectile?
2. For ammo, do I need to buy each individual rocket to fire, so multiples of a type I want to use, or do I buy one type to have a supply of them available and handwave the exact quantity? They are 100-300cr each, a total of 900 to get the five types.

Re: GM Questions
Micro-rockets fired from a launcher are at base Heavy as per the side-bars and other sources regarding them. While the pistol allows for Ranged (Light) to be used as a replacement. Notably, it is a mechanics check to fire a rocket without a launcher. Considering all of the sources of this gathered information the Mounting system would utilize Ranged (Heavy).
You would have to buy them separately for each individual rocket, yes. They are devastatingly powerful weapons.

Re: GM Questions
I figured I'd ask for everyone: are we expected to lay low as Mandalorians outside of the base? Or are we running around in our armor everywhere?

Re: GM Questions
They know you're on the planet, so the concern isn't for them seeing you as Mandalorians on the planet. More concerned with the base's location than anything else.
If anything, Mandalore would be proud to flaunt that you're here to a particular degree. Not too much, but enough.
So, in an easier answer, it won't be detrimental to you for going around in just your armor.

Re: GM Questions
Are we talking duty the obligation form where you are required to do something for the organization, or duty the mechanic where we get cool stuff once we reach 100?

Re: GM Questions
Figured I might as well ask this now, can we use the Improved Inspiring Rhetoric to give a boost die to checks that are typically longer than a minute (like crafting, modding, or surgery)?

Re: GM Questions
In the modding rules, a success with Threat increases the cost by 10 credits per, while a Triumph makes it free.
What happens if you roll both? For instance, I rolled success with a Triumph and 3 Threat. Is that free, or 30 credits?

I'll say let's just call it free.Garen Saxon wrote: ↑Tue Sep 27, 2022 6:17 pmIn the modding rules, a success with Threat increases the cost by 10 credits per, while a Triumph makes it free.

Re: GM Questions
So making sure to ask now, do you apply adversary to Scathing Tirade? And if not, do we assume an equal number of ranks of nobody's fool?

Re: GM Questions
Scathing Tirade does not target a character, and so it would not be affected by Adversary. Notably, Nobody's Fool would not apply even if it was possibly needed.

Re: GM Questions
Hey hey so the utility arm attachment says
Also would the Athletics roll benefit from it?
Would the unskilled knowledge roll benefit from this? Assuming we are helping scour the archives reading and handling books and such?Add 1 boost die to Mechanics checks, and any other checks which may benefit from an additional arm. It functions as an additional limb.

Re: GM Questions
I will say no to the Unskilled knowledge, that's more reading. However, I will happily allow for Athletics to benefit from it yes! Sorry for the late reply!Lysa Ordo wrote: ↑Mon Oct 03, 2022 11:38 pmHey hey so the utility arm attachment says
